I had to bring the plant indoor to see ripe fruits (but the plant did not like too much the climate change, it is losing many leaves) Did you fruits mature outdoor? PS. I think seeds of that pod of C.galapagoense will be viable, why not? Fruit ripened outdoor. It took very long time!!!!!!!!!!! Frost is here in Pittsburgh,Pennsylvania so I take wilds into garage on cold nights. Trying to get as many seeds as possible. Pr0digal_son 1,395 Posted November 19, 2013 C.flexuosum still flowering in -2C and snow. I put plant in unheated garage with no lights at night when frost is near. Fruit are still very small and only 2 seeds inside. C.galapagoense with many fruit,wish I could snap my fingers to make ripen. C.eximium still very healthy. Nice fruits with big seeds. C.tovarii fruit are full of seeds. Some only little specs,I keep the large ones that are clean. God blessed my garden with this plant. 5 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Lonewolf 18,147 Posted December 9, 2013 I missed some messages here That C.galapagoense is really wonderful; I recovered two plants inside to let fruits mature; they ripe slowly even inside, at 20°C ... and C.flexuosum, in my opinion, is THE plant; I have many plants outside, they don't care of frost ... really tough!
