AlexH 0 Posted May 23, 2010 I was inspired a few weeks ago by this thread and began to ask the same question... "can you bring me some peppers/seed when you come to visit me?" The first "rewards" are beginning to show... My parents came to visit us and broughts seeds from the UK and from Brazil... so the 2011 "seedbank" is already under construction!! ...thanks for the idea!!! AlexH 0 Posted May 23, 2010 strange the malagueta's shape... it don't seems frutescens... what are the orange-yellow ones in the middle? Sorry... I realise now it's quite difficult to read the labels... The varieties are (from left to right) Back row: "Chilli Shake" ...a mixture of varieties (looking at the picture it seems to include various annuum and some habanero... it should be interesting to see what grows!) "Hotscotch" ...another mixture, it seems various habs & scotch bonnet "Heatwave" ...it seems to be a Cayenne cultivar "Demon Red" ...interestingly it's labelled at C.Fructescens but I'm growing a variety with the same name this year and it's definitely Annuum "Cambuci - Bishops Crown" ...one of the varieties from Brazil Middle Row: "Cayenne" ...I'm not sure of the cultivar, but the picture looks quite different to the variety I have this year (they seem very smooth skinned) "Rokita" ...another Annuum "Prairie Fire" ...a little Annuum "Superchili" ...a Thai variety apparently "Cayenne Long Slim" ...another of the Brazilian ones called "Dedo-de-moca" Front: "Malagueta" ...you're right about the shape, it doesn't seem as "tapered" as I would expect... they also seem big, but it's hard to judge the scale from the picture...we'll see next year!! aka Woop 9 Posted November 16, 2011 Dritti dritti dal Mexico!! Nb.

Please use with extreme caution. Suggested Uses: Be warned: this sauce contains ingredients 800 times hotter than a jalapeno chile. Use sparingly. Ultra Death should not be consumed without dilution.
