Aribibi Gusano (C. Chinense)

A very hot, citrusy C. Chinense also called "caterpillar pepper." I've grown it two years. The first it was not much of a producer. The second, one plant produced hundreds of pods. It has remarkable flavor and is very unusual. A true "keeper" in the pepper patch!

Thanks for the compliment. It's sure easy to tell how they got that nickname. <_<

They usually germinate anywhere between 7-21 days, depending on seed viability. Any longer than that and I wouldn't have much faith they will sprout. If it was a wild capsicum, it would be a whole different ballgame.
