Hello together,

My plan is that, 3 or 4 varieties are backup varieties, should seeds not germinate.  The Rocotos have been sown, the Chinensen in early December and annually in January.

 annum:
 Jalapeno Mammoth
 Jalapeno completely normal 😉
 Jalapeno Dieghito

baccatum (I guess, at least tastes like this):
Unknown variety from the rainforest in Peru
 IMG-20200827-WA0019-01.jpeg.3840a0fd65363e90bbeb5615b0c6d728.jpeg

 chinense:
 Joy's Ghost Cayenne red
 Habanero Primero Red F1
 Carolina Super Reaper
 Trinidad Scorpion yellow CARDI
Golden Limón x "Butch vs Jonah Golden" F3
 Habanero Super red F1
 Habanero Yellow Super F1
 Habanero Yellow Giant
 Papa Joe's Scotch Bonnet
 Long Carbanero red
 Sumo
 Bhut Jolokia red J.W.
 Habanero Morobie Yellow

 pubescens
 Rocoto Aji Largo (5th year)
 Rocoto Peru 8969 (4th year)
 Rocoto Janet (3rd year)
 Rocoto Turbo Pube (2nd year)
 Rocoto brown (2nd year)
Rocoto Cuzco Manzano Amarillo (2nd year)
 Rocoto Manzano Golden
 Rocoto Río Hualaga orange
 Rocoto desert peach
 Rocoto spicy San Camillo
 Rocoto Pisac Amarillo
 Yellow Rocoto
 Rocoto San Pedro Amarillo

I'm curious about the new varieties and whether all winterers will get through.  Somehow I'm happy that it's finally quiet outside, but I can't wait for the new babies.

 Let The Games Begin.

 I wish everyone a great 2021 season!

many greetings

Roman

Nice list Roman.

I'm curious about Bhut Jolokia JW Red, it should bear much longer fruit than the original Bhut Jolokia.

It appears to be the Aji Challuaruro variety, a Peruvian cultivar very similar to the more commercial Aji Omnicolor.

Thank's

Unfortunately I have no idea whether this is the variety.  A friend of mine, she is Peruvian, only told me that she collected the seeds in the rainforest and the picture that she had grown the plant here.  The fruits are approx. 10 cm long.  maybe it's the same strain you suggested.  The specified sharpness would fit and it looks similar.  Let's see what that will be.

you ask for seeds from the Rocoto Tatjana F5 and you get such a nice package, I had to hold back now that I don't just eat the jam with a spoon, a big thank you to Atze

Now I have tried the Rocoto Tatjana, the smell is intense, Rocoto and fruity, the beginning tastes like Rocoto with a little peach, when you chew it comes an earthy, peppery, long-lasting aroma.  The spiciness is especially on the palate.  How spicy I can't estimate well, something around 6. The size is about 6 x 3 cm

Today I started a second worm farm.  I estimate it will be at full capacity in May.  Then there are more worm humus and worm tea available for the chillies.  I have the species Eisenia andrei and Eisenia hortensis used, these two species are also suitable as fishing lures 😉

I have the impression that if you fertilize with worm tea, the fruits get hotter

Today we tested the 14er dutch oven with layered meat, what a monster, tomorrow dinner is already safe.  The thing contained 2 kilos of meat, peppers, onions, potatoes and a lot of air

In the little one there was feta instead of meat as a vegetarian alternative for my oldest daughter, but it was really delicious

After dinner the chinense went swimming 😉
