Pr0digal_son 1,395 Posted May 27, 2015 Nice Plants and Photos John ! I have a CGN 19198 (C.Eximium) this year. Here is its flower. 15 CGN 19198 Fiore Aperto.jpg Carlo Ciao Carlo. The white eximium loses the purple pigment as the flower ages. Atleast that is happeneing on my plant. It is a very productive plant! C.cardenasii from Pepperfriends. This plant seems to be "Rocopica". The corolla shape is promising but coloration is dark purple.

Toolshed 4,341 Posted May 27, 2015 wonderful shots as usual John! C.flexuosum has a unique quality that I have not seen on any other Capsicum. It grows new suckers out of the roots of the mother plant. I'd bet you were talking about c. ciliatum. It does this as well, I thought it was the only one, but as evidenced there's at least two capsicum doing it.

Rapace 9,624 Posted May 30, 2015 Ciao Carlo. The white eximium loses the purple pigment as the flower ages. Atleast that is happeneing on my plant. It is a very productive plant! Yep, same happening to my CGN 19198....... when flowers are not yet opened their colour is purple (fist quite dark, than it lighten gradually), once they fully open the purple pigment has practically disappeared. I confirm productiveness of this variety......I also tried a cross with some Rocotos (a... let's say....Rapace's homemade Rocopica ) Take care my friend and congratulations for the wonderful photoshots you posted Carlo

Why jay's red ghost scorpion has got some White leaves ? It's a camera effect I think.. Or it's normal for this plant?

Lonewolf 18,244 Posted June 4, 2015 Wonderful, wonderful photos! Nice idea to cut a flower to take photos of the inside! You're right, those plant looks more like a Rocopica. Unfortunately having only one plant of C.cardenasii it is not possible to get pure seeds (not cross-pollinated with Rocopica, Pubescens or Eximium) C.flexuosum has a unique quality that I have not seen on any other Capsicum. It grows new suckers out of the roots of the mother plant. I'd bet you were talking about c. ciliatum. It does this as well, I thought it was the only one, but as evidenced there's at least two capsicum doing it. Dario is right. C.ciliatum usually produced suckers from the roots, even quite far from the main stem.

Rapace 9,624 Posted September 20, 2015 The class is not fresh water Hey John..... just for my curiosity...... Is the sentence written by Danio used also in American English ? It sounds to me quite strange in English. That's a literal translation of "La classe non è acqua fresca" which has a very clear (idiomatic) meaning in Italian..... but being idiomatic I doubt you use exactly the same... (For example: "In bocca al lupo" in italian is "Break a leg" in English).
