Vegas 16 Posted January 23, 2014 Grazie a tutti! Ok sorry I always tend to get busy at times so time for a wild update. I'm very impressed by how well they're doing under the LEDs. I still haven't had time to assemble a bigger unit, but for now it's ok. Here's how they're doing, and by the rate they're growing I'll be able to update more often . Cumari pollux (Spicegeist) Tepin X 7 pot barrackpore F2. (Spicegeist) CAP 501 x Donne sali F1. (Spicegeist) CAP 501. (Judy) CGN 24332, one of my most healthiest plants. I love this one and can't for flowers and pods. CGN 19198, finally stretching more and growing faster . CGN 19198 also. This one was small and stunted and dropped most leaves but after I put it under LED it's now taking of like a rocket . Bhut orange Copenhagen. (Chiliriot) CGN 24332, now this one is short and stumpy but growing nice. Any thoughts on the growth habit? Here's how my LED area looks like. Plain and simple, recycle people LOL. Other part on the aerogarden, might fire up #3 if I get the CFL adapters. And last but not least. Yesterday while running some errands I flew by the hydro store which was having a 21% off whole purchase so I got me some rapid rooters and some 5.5 inch pots. I must sow a lil bit more . I need to sow the lancey and some of the praetermissum that didn't germinate along with some annum wilds . It's hard to take pics of group shots since it's really hard to see the tiny plants all clustered. I personally like close ups when they're small and more group shots when they get bigger, but if anyone wants to see a specific plant or whatever just ask . Hope everyone is having an excellent week. -Walt

Lonewolf 18,153 Posted January 23, 2014 Very nice plants and setup! CGN 24332 growth habit is as usual for C.eximium, a messy bush up to 2 m tall with many secondary stems starting from the base and thin branches going in every direction.
Vegas 16 Posted January 23, 2014 Wow, amazing plants and photos, great list! Good luck! Thanks Essegi! very very well done mate! keep on the good work. Dario Thanks Toolshed! Hi, Beautiful List and Plants!! Have a good growing season!! Thanks AleSpaggia! Very nice plants and setup! CGN 24332 growth habit is as usual for C.eximium, a messy bush up to 2 m tall with many secondary stems starting from the base and thin branches going in every direction. Thanks Lonewolf, I see. One is branching out nice from the bottom and the other one might still be small. I have noticed different caracteristics in both Eximium, a friend from Finland also sent me CAP 500, CAP 1491, and CAP 1530 which is supposed to be a cardenasii, but looks eximium in every way. I can't wait to grow them . -Walt
Vegas 16 Posted January 26, 2014 Ok, mild update. Plants and everything is still doing good, and haven't really changed anything. So here's a few pics. CGN 24332 - C. Eximium. (Judy) CGN 19198 - C. Eximium. (Judy) Cumari pollux. (Spicegeist) Tepin X 7 pot barrackpore F2 (Spicegeist) Tepin X Lemon drop F2. (Smileyguy). I started new ones since the first one looked sad and just yellowed out (I was using bad soil...) CAP 501 x Donne sali F1 (Spicegeist). Still growing... I love the way it's coming out. CAP 501 - C. Chacoense. (Judy) Cobincho ( C. Chacoense) or also known as Capsicum Exile? This one is a "Take your sweet time to grow pepper" the slowest I have ever seen, but it's growing . CGN 20510 - C. Chacoense. And some others I'm growing. Bhut Orange Copenhagen. (ChiliRiot). Rocoto mystery. Only one under the LEDs and looking better than the ones under fluoros. Bhut jolokia purple. (ChiliRiot) Pimenta da Neyde (Chris Phillips) Texas black, this one I can't find info on. I searched and found a post where "Smokemaster" says it's like a black tepin, and this one is from his seed. I did saw a few seedlings a cousin of mine grew but never went back to see them and the plants look the same as the yellow tepin but with black foliage. This one I'm very excited about. Bubblegum 7 pot (Denniz) Chocolate Brainstrain. Rocoto Guatemalan orange. (Justecila) These last two are in a hydro rig... I'm giving up on it because I'm tired to death to be battling the friggin slime. So these are going in the soil hopefully tonight after I sow or tomorrow. Cumari pollux. (Spicegeist) Aribibi gusano (ChiliRiot). These are going to be sown today Saturday or tomorrow Sunday . Chinense: -Monster moruga yellow (Chiliriot) -Caramel moruga (Jon) -Pimenta elisir (Buckeye) -Sweet Panama (Leo_gdl) -Pimenta leopard (Chiliriot) Wilds: -Blue mystery (Portuge) -Cumari Verdaidera (Portuge) -CAP 1141 (Portuge) -CAP 214 (Semillas) -C. Lanceolatum (Semillas) -CGN 22795 (Semillas) -C. Eximium (Semillas) -Galapagoense (Spicegeist) -Chintexle (Spicegeist) -CAP 500 (Toni) -CAP 1491 (Toni) -CAP 1530 (Toni) -PI 593491 (Toni) -PI 260504 (Toni) -Tepin Tarahumara (Toni) -Ambar Negtar (Steven) -Malagueta (Coki) -Wild Orange (Leo_gdl) -Tepin yellow (Megaspokaneman) -CAP 691 (Judy) -CAP 1144 (Judy) -CAP 539 (Judy) -CGN 21502 (Judy) -CGN 24360 (Judy) -CGN 22792 (Judy) -BGH 460 (Judy) -Pointed Praetermissum (Judy) Hybrids: -Cumari pollux x Donne sali F1 (Spicegeist) -Piri Piri x Donne sali F1 (Spicegeist) -Chintexle x Donne sali F1 (Spicegeist) This will be my most definite last time I sow for a while. Unless I get something I've been longing to get like rocopica or a true C. Cardenasii . Thank you all for stopping by and hope you all have a warm weekend!! -Walt

Lonewolf 18,153 Posted January 28, 2014 Wow! Lovely plants, especially wild species. C.exile is a synonymous for C.chacoense; indeed Cobincho is a C.chacoense.
