JohnF 0 Posted August 1, 2008 I don't know what that one is but am interested in them. I found this one growing wild in a neighbors yard
blast 1 Posted August 1, 2008 John if you are interested in this solanum, i can send you some seeds when the fruit turn to red...(i suppose is the color of ripe pods)..give me your address in a private message.
Basta comprare dei semi di peperoncino su eBay --- It's really simple to get seeds of Solanum Nigrum (judging by the experiences of someone among us) ... It's enough to buy some peppers' seeds on eBay
alb 1 Posted August 2, 2008 I don't know what that one is but am interested in them. I found this one growing wild in a neighbors yard Hi John, it looks like this one, I found near a wood, that should be solanum dulcamara. Ripe pods are red. Sorry for the low quality of pictures. JohnF 0 Posted August 2, 2008 Nothing wrong with your pictures. Yes, that is the name for the one from my neighbors yard. Here is the plant and ripe berries Do you know what the other is?
Lonewolf 18,201 Posted August 2, 2008 Do you know what the other is? The one in the first photo? In my opinion, it's Solanum Nigrum. In Solanum Dulcamara it's possible to chew dried stems; they have a strange taste, sweet and bitter at the same time, hence the name which means "dulcis" (sweet) and "amarus" (bitter)
alb 1 Posted August 2, 2008 Do you know what the other is? Which one do you mean? ... anyway I saw that nagalone already answered ...
