kibaumm 1 Posted June 1, 2011 HI everyone!! i'm so sorry but my italian is vary bad!! I will try to write in english... then i use google transletor in intalian! This is a very old recipe to conserve pepper here in Brazil!! u will need: I use Lemon drop and malagueta( but you can use any pepper of your choise) 8 Lemon "cravo"( a asian lemon orange) Citrus limonia Osbeck sugar Salt ingridients Fist you cut the lemon and then squeeze and leach the lemon juice. put the lemon juice, 1tb of salt and 1tb of sugar in a pan and go to the flames...you need to remove the foam that will form! i use a "escumadeira" (I'm sorry... cant translete this... ajajaja) 15m in flames is enough. Now expect to cool... sterilize a jar, put the washed pepper inside and drop the lemon juice! the pepper need to be sunk in the juice! the conserve needs 20 25 days to stabilaze! each day one need to open the jar! PS: the lemon is a alternative to vinegar!! this is my favority way to conserve pepper!! much better then vinegar!! try this!
