Il Jaguar, con la sua maturazione in 96 giorni dalla germinazione è di gran lunga più veloce di qualsiasi altro C.chinense, più veloce anche di molti C.annuum. I frutti maturano da verde scuro ad arancio brillante. La piccantezza è nella media degli habanero. Il tipico profumo fruttato dei frutti è molto intenso.
