Luca dalla Tailandia 2 Posted October 16, 2008 Another experiment with inside plants. This doesn't look right to me but it also doesn't look like anything else I growing. ??? It has something of the so called bolivian Rainbow (which actually is a ornamental), - hasn't it? I always did wonder how they create these ornamental peppers with the purple flowers and pod color. They may actually use wild varieties with purple flowers to perform that. How could they get to it otherwise? Still,... considering that the Pimenta da Neyde you showed in another post seems to be a "x" between a Annuum and Chinense. I still wonder where that purplish color came from then. In case it comes from the chinense, there should be a morango, Olho de Peixe, Olho de Pombo (or any other purplish semi-domesticated "wild/chinense" from Brasil) be involved.
