...it's "inspired by" the Indian technique of marinading meat in a mixture of yoghurt and spices... I hope you like it!

Ingredients (for 4 people)

Lamb pieces (like small chops or steaks) ...allow 3 or 4 per person

Marinade:
200ml natural yoghurt
juice of 1 lime
1 red chilli (my Hungarian Hot Wax was perfect!)
2 garlic cloves
1 piece of ginger
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of tumeric
1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds

blend the ingredients in a small food processor and then cover the lamb pieces with the mixture and allow to marinade for at least 5 or 6 hours.

...then light a charcoal BBQ and get it really hot! ...then you can grill the meat just off the centre of the BBQ, so it cooks quickly but does not burn!

...serve it with rice, salad and yoghurt with mint and cucumber!
