PepperJam 1 Posted February 9, 2012 Ciao PepperFriends! I hope i got that right, my first word in Italian! Here is my seed list So i started my seeds using the cup method of germination on a heat mat at 85F (29.4C) early January: A couple of weeks later, i would move those germinated seeds to a 72 plug tray and put a small cup to provide a humid environment to grow. From this picture, you can see the seedlings on the left were put in earlier than the ones on the right Here are my plants just last week, the missing plugs have already been potted up into 3.5inch square x 5 inch high plastic nursery containers using PROMIX BX. I give botanicaire nutes (liquid karma, pro grow @ 5ml / gallon) And here is a seedling ready to be potted up! And here is a close up of some of the annums i'm growing and some of the chinese i'm growing Stay tuned!

Thanks all, Maverick, no problem, your english is better than my Italian! What about cheiro roxa? I've never seen it before, and - hey - it really looks amazing! It seems to be some kind of c. chinense variety... is it a particular crossbreed? I am very intereted in dark-leaf varieties, so please let me know!!!!!! Cheiro Roxa is a C. Chinese. It has very beautiful pods like so (from http://fatalii.net/c...inense)&id=7028). Read the website info on it. PepperJam 1 Posted February 11, 2012 Just an update, some of my annums are getting too big, too fast! I'll need to get bamboo skewers and tie them up. Zapotec Jalapeno from Peppermania - 13 inches including pot, or 9 inches from bottom of stem to top. Kashmiri Mirch is the tallest. The leaves are kind of curling. Not sure why, maybe it needs some calmag? It is topping 16 inches in pot, 12 inches from stem. The Kashmiri Mirch already has flower buds, probably will pinch them. Due to the taller ones, i had to raise the lights, and seperate the talls from the shorts. The shortest ones on the right have some books propping them up. Ciao! PepperJam 1 Posted February 13, 2012 Lots of new growth, things are getting crowded. Annums are getting too big. Next year, i will start my annums later than chinese. Lesson learned! Anyways, decided to take some mug shots of my pepper plants that are bigger. Zapotec Jalapeno Serrano del Sol Kashmiri Mirch, lots of leaf curl. may a calmag defeciency? Siling Labuyo Kung Pao Peppercinio Round Piquillo Labuya Bishops Crown Indian Jawala Scotch Bonnet Foodarama Cheiro Roxa Pink Habanero Yellow Scotch Bonnet (papa joes mkt) Aji Limon Peppadew White Habanero Top Shelf, right most Tray of C.
