Is it original Clavo?

I'm growing a Clavo (C.chinense) plant. It's 2 first mature pods have orange-red colour.

 

I received its seeds from fataliiseeds.net. But their pods have another colour...

 

Is my Clavo chilli pepper plant genuine?

Unfortunately no

The photo from Fatalii shows the (almost) correct color and shape.

Clavo is a variety breeded by our friend Mario Dadomo at Stuard, Parma

(by the way, Fatalii sell it without any permission , but Mario said "Success is when they copy me" ).

The name was given just because of the angular shape reminiscent of an old nail (clavo=nail=chiodo in Spanish)

Of course Clavino=small nail=chiodino, because it's similar to Clavo, but smaller

I'll ask to Mario Dadomo.

I guess he received seeds that produced unstable plants, then selected them by self-pollination obtaining two different but similar lines, Clavo and Clavino.
