AlexH 0 Posted March 11, 2010 This is the other book I ordered... ...this one is a bit more general, with some information about history & origins of chillis, a classification of the major types (pre-Bhut/Naga!), some methods of preservation, and some recipies. There are some nice photos & pictures (not in the recipie section though, which is a shame) but in general I think the level is a bit basic, and there is nothing about cultivation. I would recommend the DeWitt & Bosland "The Complete Chilli Pepper Book" (2009) as a better alternative! I give it 3/5 (on first impressions) Paperback: 128 pages Publisher: New Holland Publishers Ltd (31 Aug 2007) Language English ISBN-10: 1845370341 ISBN-13: 978-1845370343 Product Dimensions: 26.4 x 20.8 x 1 cm
Lonewolf 18,107 Posted March 11, 2010 Interesting. I also recommend last book of Bosland-DeWitt, expecially for the great number of recipes.
