Jumbe 1 Posted January 14, 2010 Ciao bella gente... il tempo è tiranno ed anche questa volta non sono riuscito a mantenere tutti i buoni propositi per arrivare sufficientemente pronto a questa fantastica avventura che è la coltivazione. Senza perdermi in fronzoli vi dirò cosa intendo coltivare in questo mio quarto anno di esperienza piccante: Grazie alla inesauribile generosità di qualcuno... potrò coltivare (da semi puri): 7Pod; Aji Amarillo; Cumari Praetermissium; Red Savina; Habanero Peach; Habanero Pink; Malagueta; Pimenta da Neyde; Pimento de Padron; Trinidad scorpion; Ancho Poblano; Orange Yucatan; Grazie a soli due isolamenti andati a buon fine aggiungo: Lemon Drop; Bhut Jolokia Chocolate; Poi, anche se non ho ancora inviato l'ordine a semillas.de (ho dato incarico ad una amica di madrelingua tedesca) Antohi Romanian; Fatalii; Habanero White Giant; Hungarian Wax; Jalapeno Craig's Grande; Jamaican Scotch Bonnet TFM; Rocoto Costarican Red; Tabasco. Quasi sicuramente andrà aggiunto qualcosa, che spulciando tra i residui degli anni scorsi, salterà sicuramente fuori. Per quanto riguarda i pomodori... sempre da semillas.de Costoluto genovese; Gourmet Yellow Stuffer; Muhl's Mini; Noir Blue Fruit; Principe Borghese; Raf; Reisentomate; Wildtomate La Palma. e da semi recuperati da altre stagioni credo continuerò con: Ildi; Green Zebra; Cherry Daylight; Roman Candle. Per peperoni dolci e melanzane... attendo che il sito Kokopelli torni ad essere visibile (non capisco cos'abbia!) Intanto mi preoccupa il fatto di aver deciso di fare un bel trattamento con calciociannamide per evitare il proliferare di malattie fungine dovute alla mancata rotazione delle colture. Come qual'è la preoccupazione... trovare il tempo!!! P.S.: buoni propositi per quest'anno... iniziare per tempo con l'isolamento dei fiori ed ottenere qualche frutto puro! Jumbe 1 Posted January 14, 2010 Bhe dai... per il momento sono SOLO 22 varietà! L'anno scorso se non sbaglio erano 28 (che con due piante per tipo in orto erano 56) più 20/25 regalate........ Jumbe 1 Posted January 15, 2010 Dopotutto nel 2009 ho raccolto quasi un 30% in meno rispetto al 2008... sono rimasto con l'amaro in bocca (a dire il vero ho una cantina di frutti secchi!!). In compenso le salse ed il tabasco che ho prodotto hanno trovato largo consenso (hanno fatto il giro d'europa grazie a diversi amici) e le richieste sono assidue! Jumbe 1 Posted January 18, 2010 Soon 20... per i pomodori è presto (di solito li semino a marzo), ma attendo anche per i pepper (chinense, baccatum e pubescens non prima di fine febbraio ed il resto a fine marzo). Jumbe 1 Posted April 13, 2010 Cosa volete che vi dica... sono preso con le bombe... Ecco che sabato pomeriggio, evitando di litigare con mia moglie... ho finalmente trapiantanto. Questa la situazione nel light Box. Che dire, seminare negli alveolari è comodo... ma poi ci si trova con cesti di insalata! Dopo 120 minuti e 120 litri di terriccio.... Certo che le piantine erano in salute e le radici sanissime. Tutte portate in serra riscaldata, anche se dovrò fare qualcosa per il sovraffollamento! E adesso... si preme sull'acceleratore. In orto sto predisponendo uan copertura antigrandine, la terra è fresata e sterilizzata con calciocianammide. Devo preparare le file e coprire con il telo da pacciamatura e poi... VIA. I pomodori sono nati, non tutti però, le melanzane latitano ed il tomatillo mi fa dannare come ogni anno (ormai credo rinuncerò definitivamente!)
