I really love the "Explosive Ember" cultivar, what is the species, is it C. Frustescens or Annuum?

There are different opinions about what is C. frutescens itself. It is very similar to annuum  The most different from annuums are Tobasco and some wild frutescenses with tiny fruits. And such things as Thai, Tezpur and others with erect pods and multiple flowers from a node are mostly crosses.
