MrArboc 0 Posted September 24, 2009 I have no idea if this is in the right place, by I'll give it a go... I picked up a couple of chiles at the local supermarket yesterday - they where labeled Yellow Adjoema but I can't find any information about them, and I suspect that it is a cross. Chinense for sure, but has anyone any more information?

Lonewolf 18,106 Posted September 24, 2009 My Madame Jeannette looks quite different ... but I'm not sure mine are the right ones. Just to add some confusion, I'm growing other varieties similar: Chili goronong and Long Yellow Pear Shaped Chinense ... both produce pods twisted that way. nipotastro 1,344 Posted September 24, 2009 they are not the same variety, but are similar... in the link there is a compare
MrArboc 0 Posted September 24, 2009 I guess I'll just call them Yellow Adjoema if I decide to plant some of the seeds.

Lonewolf 18,106 Posted September 25, 2009 Here my version of Madame Jeannette, immature (not sure it's the right one) These look more similar to MrArboc's pod Chili goronong Long yellow pear shaped chinense (small pod)
MrArboc 0 Posted September 25, 2009 But your pod is twisted Most of the pods at the store weren't, I just picked a couple of the cool looking ones. Anyway, pods don't always look like the pictures:)
