ChilliCrosser 848 Posted May 4, 2022 The orange based breeding line on my #stripeystarfish project has F1s that ripen to red, unlike the yellow based breeding line. Here is a good example of an unripe orange based F1 that is indicating striping traits before ripening red. Should be good for the F2 grow out 🙂and to compare with the yellow breeding line. This specific pod on this F1 plant isn't one of the starfish-like shapes.

ChilliCrosser 848 Posted June 13, 2022 First F2 flower opening on one of the plants for my X034 interspecific cross (Sugar Rush Stripey x Pimenta Da Neyde). It still has the same mixed traits from the F1 flower, baccatum corolla and chinense purple anthers/stigma. This F2 plant appears to be showing some an added purple fringe to the petals 😍 Hope that is consistent once more flowers open.

ChilliCrosser 848 Posted June 24, 2022 An overwintered X005 F2 plant (Fidalgo Roxa x Giant White Habanero) is starting to go heavy on the buds and flowers even though it hasn't really recovered very well. Need to get some good F3 seeds from it as I failed to get them last year, this was a pod from 2021 though
