“Ovetti” - dott. Mario Dadomo

Buongiorno a tutti. Avrei una richiesta davvero difficile questa volta. Vorrei riprodurre questa varietà del dott. Dadomo che molto probabilmente non é più in circolazione. Accetto anche semi molto vecchi e/o non isolati. Se qualcuno li avesse disponibili e fosse disposto a scambiarli, cederli o altro per favore contattatemi in privato. Grazie

Mi ricordo bene quella varieta' del dott.Dadomo,l'ho coltivata diversi anni fa',peccato non ho più i semi anche se sarebbero stati ora molto datati,l'unico riferimento che avevo trovato tempo fa riguardo ai semi di  questa varietà era questo sito di vendita

Grazie per l’interessamento. In effetti avevo trovato anche io questo sito ma dalla descrizione non penso si tratti della varietà originale purtroppo...

Si infatti ho letto quella descrizione che non coincide, purtroppo non c'è nemmeno una foto per farsi un idea

I told Ed years ago to remove that variety from the website as it is not correct. The description fits Cedrino (C. annuum). Unfortunately, I don't work there and have no control over what the company does.   

That aside, if anyone can pull the miracle of locating this correct seed, I'm probably the person. I will report back once I have time to look through my seeds.  Those were fun days looking through Mario's catalog enjoying all the unusual stuff!!

L0rds40,  very good news.  I dug up a few Ovetti seeds from Mario's collection.  I only had 4 seeds dated back to 2008-2009.  Well as of today, I sprouted a seedling.    Fingers crossed, I am successful with it and seeds will be sent to the association to share!  Never say die.
