Coltivazione: Oban 2019 (Generazione F1)

 

Pianta imponente e vigorosa con caratteristiche tipiche della specie C.pubescens.

I fiori sono singoli per nodo, di colore viola.
La corolla è di forma rotata ed i petali sono solitamente 5 o 6 per ogni fiore.
Le antere sono di colore viola con filamenti chiari, il pistillo è viola, l'ovario è verde, lo stigma è verde.

La dimensione media dei frutti è di circa 4-6 cm di lunghezza e 3-4 cm di larghezza, a forma di mela, vagamente allungata ai poli.

La pianta è stata coltivata a terra ed ha mostrato frutti di pezzatura medio-grande, mediamente pesavano 60 g.

La piccantezza è alta ed il sapore tipico dei Rocoto di colore rosso.

Si è deciso di proseguire la selezione futura con i semi puri F2 di questo individuo.
