Love the flowers and the seedling pictures...

Great things are in your future.

Is it an annuum? Is it a chinense? No... it is an interspecific Capsicum

That is one of the most exciting things in my yard... from the looks of it you are well ahead of me in your grow. With this years seedlings so tall already. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more pictures.

I really like those varieties of Rocoto but I have a soft spot for Peru 8969, I find the fruit incredibly beautiful!

Amazing, beautifull pods!

Those dishes are also delicious, with all that melted cheese the spiciness should be more than manageable, what else is in the recipe?

I also very much appreciated the Rocoto Aji Largo and definitely recommend it as a first approach to C.pubescens.

The sharpness of Peru '69 is fair 😉
I can no longer say exactly what was inside, I cook according to feeling and what is available.
one variant was filled with sweet beef ragout with raisins
the other variant was filled with a feta and tomato herb cream.
both variants were on potato gratin and gratinated with cheese.

Pictures from my current cultivation.  The plants grow great.  I had to cut the Rocoto Turbo Pube, it grows too quickly 😎

Ciao,

Peti Miris is a very interesting cultivar of C.chinense, while I don't know Huacatay.... do you have some photos of it or can you describe somehow that variety (specie, pungency etc.etc.)

And congrats for your pictures and cultivation
