CraftyFox 1 Posted November 21, 2019 Howdy all! I blame Lonewolf and Megamastger71 for my coming here. I saw a post about wilds on THP and it lead me here to see what I could learn from the efforts done over here. I typically do a lot more reading than I do posting.. My current thirst for knowledge includes wilds, wild breeding, and methods of germination that improve the rates of wild germination. I have specific interests in disease resistance, deciduous pods, and indoor vigor under typical conditions. It would be nice to have a "North America" designation in the drop down to select, instead of just "United States of America".. But I suppose that is another topic. Thanks for having me. Hopefully I manage to return some of what I absorb here.

Eric Knight 73 Posted November 23, 2019 Ga-3 improves rates of germination and earliness of germination better than any other method I've seen studied followed closely by potassium nitrate treatments. Welcome aboard.

CraftyFox 1 Posted August 27, 2021 I'm back with a newbie question.. In the database, what does it mean by 'Number of cards:x '(usually 1 or 3)? Thanks!
Lonewolf 18,106 Posted August 27, 2021 It means that there are more sheets describing the same variety, for example because more persons grew and described it or a single author added new photos in different years etc. In some case someone added a sheet with tasting experience or videos etc. On the top left of each page describing a variety it's possible to choose the sheet to display.
