Lonewolf 18,092 Posted December 3, 2018 Il sondaggio realizzato nel 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 e 2018, grazie all'instancabile lavoro di Rapace, ha permesso di preparare un lungo elenco di specie e varietà coltivate dai Pepperfriends. L'elenco è un'ottima base per continuare a raccogliere ed elaborare informazioni sulle varietà coltivate anche per la nuova stagione. Invitiamo tutti i Pepperfriends a scaricare il foglio in formato XLSX o ODS, a indicare con una X nella colonna "C" le varietà presenti nelle loro semine 2019 e a restituire poi il foglio compilato a Stefania (via email a segretario chiocciola pepperfriends.com) Lista 2019.xlsx Lista 2019.ods E' importante non modificare la sequenza delle righe; se alcune varietà seminate non sono presenti, vanno aggiunte in coda al foglio XLSX/ODS. Per alcune varietà mancano indicazioni sulla specie; chi dovesse coltivarle, può pubblicare documentazione per permettere l'identificazione (grazie!). Tutte le varietà più comuni sono sicuramente presenti nella lista ma potrebbero essere talvolta non immediate da trovare. Questo deriva dal fatto che il nome completo viene spesso abbreviato nella comunicazione "standard" oppure per la presenza di sinonimi. Alcuni esempi: Tepin o Chiltepin ? Moruga, Morouga o Trinidad Scorpion Moruga (o Morouga) ? Il modo migliore per trovare queste varietà (se non identificate immediatamente in base all' ordine alfabetico) è usare la funzione "trova" di Excel o Open Office ed utilizzare per la ricerca una parola "chiave" nel nome. Se ad esempio voglio ricerca il "Pimenta da Neyde" digiterò "Neyde".... oppure per il TS Moruga blend.... userò Moruga (o anche solo "uga" così trovo anche "Morouga"). Come aggiungere una varietà che non è presente nell' elenco ? Se poi proprio non trovate una o più varietà che state coltivando.... aggiungetelo in coda alla lista come una varietà nuova (non è un problema anche se esistesse già poi la sistemiamo). E se coltivo un mio ibrido (instabile) ? Alcuni ibridi sono già nella lista, se però non è fra quelli, è buona norma indicare (fino a che non si ha una varietà stabilizzata secondo gli adeguati criteri di selezione) sia la generazione (F1, F2, F3... etc.etc.) il nome della varietà madre e della varietà "padre" (varietà che ha fornito il polline). Ad esempio: Habanero Orange X Trinidad Scorpion F1 Se poi si preferisce si può aggiungere un nome di fantasia ed il nickname Pepperfriends del coltivatore. E' molto importante rappresentare in chiaro le due varietà originarie in modo da evitare il proliferare di nomi di fantasia senza sapere da cosa derivano.... specificandole si potrà poi sapere da cosa sono originati . Ricordo che (si possono trovare cercando sul forum diversi topic al riguardo) per ottenere una varietà con un certo grado di stabilità ci vogliono diverse generazioni (talvolta più di 5) ed una selezione anno per anno basata su una selezione coerente fra diverse piante. Intanto qualche anticipazione. Finora la statistica si basa su 56 liste di altrettanti Peppefriends, il totale delle diverse varietà coltivate in totale è 430 Come si vede..... ancora i C.chinense hanno piu' varietà nelle nostre coltivazioni, seguiti dai C.annuum ..... .......MA quest'anno....una grossa sorpresa si prospetta all' orizzonte ! La varietà piu' coltivata fra i Pepperfriends.... NON è (per la prima volta da quando facciamo questa statistica) un C.chinense ! Volete indovinare ? provateci, ma non sarà facilissimo secondo me E... dico di piu'.... nelle prime 6 posizioni ci sono "solo" 2 C.chinense..... (beh, questi sono facili da indovinare ). Inoltre..... alcune conferme che mi fanno veramente piacere Le 20 prime varietà piu' coltivate.....sono TUTTE varietà tradizionali... o per lo meno "classiche" ... (beh, ci sono un paio di superhot che si possono considerare oramai.... classici). Da notare inoltre che alcune varietà "classiche"....... anche anche Italiane, sono state "riscoperte" negli ultimi 2 anni ed adesso sono nei primissimi posti fra le varietà piu' coltivate da noi Pepperfriends...... qua la n. 1 è invece "facile" credo da indovinare. Prossimamente altre statistiche e .... la classifica definitiva MA solo quando arriveranno le ultime liste... I guess Bhut Orange Copenhagen, don't know why. What I do think is interesting is that frutescens has so small amounts grown! It's even less than some wilds and quite a lot after pubescens. No, for the first time since we started this statistics the number one is not a C.chinense Here in below the "Top number 1" in the ranking list of most cultivated for past years: 2013 Naga Morich 2014 Moruga Blend 2015 Carolina Reaper & Jalapeno 2016 Pimenta da Neyde 2017 Fatalii 2018 Fatalii 2019 ???????? In any case... B.O.C. is not so common.....2 Pepperfriends (out of 59) cultivated this cultivar in 2019.
