hope to see a cabaca roxa pic when they're full ripen.

 

what lemon spice and multi-color jalapenos taste like? I mean, very similar to a "standard" jalapeno?

Ask and you shall receive a Cabaca Roxa picture. :) Regarding those NuMex jalapeno strains, I really like them a lot. They have superb flavor and are beautiful on top of that. They have good pungency for a jalapeno as well. I was impressed and found NuMex Orange Spice to be the best producer here.

Yes, Big Yellow Mama seems to have many pod shapes, but a consistent color and texture across the plants. As with all these super hot crosses, they show variability.

 

Those NuMex jalapenos are sold by The Chili Pepper Institute in New Mexico, USA. They developed the three strains and stabilized them. I believe they were released in 2016.
