luca1973 1,504 Posted April 8, 2016 Salvelinus fontinalis Oncorhynchus mykiss Salmo trutto and Capsicum men will never be able to match the perfection of the nature's colors!
WILDS 98 Posted April 10, 2016 3 reasons. 1.Salvelinus fontinalis 2.Salmo trutto 3.Oncorhynchus mykiss To be honest,I have been consumed by other hobbies, fly fishing being paramount. In Pittsburgh it still snows and temperatures are still -5C at times. In June I will be more excited for Capsicum. I do have a few rare and interesting plants that I am looking forward to sharing with Pepperfriends. I consider it luck! The lanceolatum is in a constricted vessel for now, that probably aids it in setting fruit early. Sow date was 12/12/2015. I don't use rockwool,so I can't comment with confidence. I would flush and pH rockwool cubes if I were using them. And with germination of any plant or Capsicum, the first key is good seed. Historically,C.lanceolatum has not been a problem for me to germinate. 15-30 days typically. A problem that I see with lanceolatum is the seed sticks to cotyledons after germination. Plant many seeds, and pick the vigorous sprouts to grow. This is a plant called Cabai Burung Ungu Huge Rocopica Purple chacoense Cumari Alongado. This is a special one for Pepperfriends database. Already have a lot of photos C.galapagoense ciao John Thank you very much.
Pr0digal_son 1,395 Posted April 15, 2016 in Verona catch trout so small guards shoot you. Even with such a low water We have size restrictions in the USA also. For trout it is roughly 20 cm. Tomorrow starts trout season in my state. Pennsylvania stocks certain waters with large numbers of trout, and people catch, kill and eat the majority of them. The rest of the stocked trout eventually die from hot temperatures of summer,or the strongest fish find cold water and stay alive. I avoid that style of fishing like a plague!!! In northern Pennsylvania the temperatures are colder, and in the Hemlock forests the streams are protected from sun. The water pH and temperature stays perfect where trout can reproduce naturally. These are the fish I target although they are small. They are very very very very keen, and one has to be like a ninja to catch them. Here is the main body of water(Allegheny River). I fish the tributaries that feed this river. In the Allegheny River there are much larger fish of all species, including Muskellunge that approach 140 cm. P.S. I do not kill any fish,no matter how big. I buy fish to eat. ciao, John
Pr0digal_son 1,395 Posted April 15, 2016 OH! hahahaha... I didn't realize that!!! I was going to expect something like a fatty salmon. I am seeing your baits are very well crafted. The last one you posted looks like a real one. We have large trout and salmon in The Great Lakes.!
Cerasello 73 Posted April 15, 2016 I have checked the temperatures in your country. They are very influential on the fishing. It is very helpful fishing in this period (until october) cos' it is warmer (on summer for sure) than the rest of the year. The thing is that you live in a city which is placed on the border with the Ohio state and that means a lot in terms of cold. "Spring is springing", enjoy your hobbies even growing plants and peppers .
