I pinch/remove the flowers till they are planted out into the poly tunnel. Otherwise they tend to stop producing new flowers and ripen of the pods hanging on the plant first. At least that's what happened with the plants that had pods during plant out last season. Carlo I got it in a trade, all the person could tell was that it come from Brasil and ripen of white. So far it's growth habit is very similar with the Murupi Amarela, flowers are just as small. meatfreak 500 Posted May 29, 2014 Some new pictures. 7 Pot Evergreen a week later. 7 Pot Jonah Orange. Sheet works but I should have done it the same way like I did with the tomatoes. Damn weeds find their way anyhow. The force is strong in these, Habanero White Giant, don't think I will get to see any ripe pods coming of this one but how resilient can a plant be? I did bury the plants a bit deeper during plant out, guess that made the difference in this case. Pimenta Lisa F2, dark pheno, getting back in shape again. Sorry, just noticed your reply Yes they suppose to be new hybrids I've been trying to make. Something to grow out during this winter and next season It's been very hot these past days and it looks like it's not changing soon. We do have rain mostly at nights so luckily it cools down a bit. Thai Demon pods, yellow on the leaves is the reflection of the sun Jwala forming pods. Yaki Blue, just planted out, some leave damage. Devil's Tongue Chocolate. meatfreak 500 Posted June 11, 2014 The first peppers of the season have started to ripen of. Hardly any difference this morning but got some real color now. Madame Jeanette's, from pollination tot ripening of in 5 weeks. Plant is still inside but once the pods are harvested, I will plant it out inside the tunnel. I just planted them out 1,5 weeks ago but they have started to grow again and forming pods. As soon they are bit bigger I will take pictures. Only 8 different varieties this season though. Not sure since this is my first season growing them but they suppose to be 7 pot hot indeed. The pods can get very big, like an apple.
